Calgary Flames draft history
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This is is a list of Calgary Flames draft picks. The Calgary Flames came into existence in 1980 when the franchise, then known as the Atlanta Flames relocated north to Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
The 2007 NHL Entry Draft was the 28th draft that the Flames participated in since their arrival in the Stampede City. The Flames have selected a total of 299 players, 110 of which have played at least one game in the National Hockey League, seven of whom played over 1,000 NHL games. One player, Al MacInnis, is a Hockey Hall of Famer.
This list features every player drafted by the Flames who went on to play in the National Hockey League, where they played their junior or college hockey, the number of regular season games played in the NHL, and their career points (skaters) or wins (goaltenders). Stats are complete as of the 2007–08 NHL season. Players shaded in light blue played at least one game in the NHL.
