Calcutta National Medical College

Out of the four medical colleges in Kolkata (India), Calcutta National Medical College has its origin in the then founded National Medical Institute or "Jatiya Ayurbigyan Vidyalaya" on 1st of Baisakh in 1921. This institute is a product of the historical "Non Cooperation Movement".
Now it is under the West Bengal University of Health Sciences [1].
