Calais-Ville railway station
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Gare de Calais-Ville (English: Calais Town railway station) is a mainline railway station serving the town of Calais in northern France. The station is located in the centre of Calais, and is one of three serving the town (the others being Les Fontinettes in the south of the city and Calais-Fréthun in the suburbs). Calais-Ville is the main station in Calais for regional services on the TER network in Nord-Pas de Calais, while it is also on the TER Grand Vitesse line from Lille. The station is also the pick up point for the Venice Simplon Orient Express; VSOE passengers leave the Eurotunnel Shuttle at Calais International Terminal and travel by coach into the centre of Calais to connect with the train.
