Cal Wilson (born 5 October 1970) is a New Zealand stand-up comedian and radio personality.

[edit] Biography
After attending high school in Christchurch, she completed a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Canterbury. From there, she joined The Court Jesters improv group (which she helped form in 1990) and was part of the New Zealand team to win the World Theatresports title in Los Angeles in 1994.
She moved to stand-up comedy full-time and was the first winner of New Zealand's most prestigious comedy award, The Billy T. She was also a regular on TV3's Pulp Comedy. In recent years she has been working out of Melbourne, Australia.
Wilson was the winner of the 2001 Best Newcomer Award at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
She has appeared to critical acclaim at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Her 2006 show Up There, Cal Wilson was a sellout at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

Wilson has worked on Australian comedy shows SkitHOUSE, Rove Live and Thank God You're Here.
As of August 2007, Wilson is part of the ensemble cast of the new season of Australian sketch comedy TV show, The Wedge.

She was a regular guest on the Triple M program, Get This.
In 2007, Wilson started as a co-host with Akmal Saleh on the drive time radio show, The Akmal Show with Cal Wilson (now called The Wrong Way Home with Akmal, Cal and Ed) which airs on Nova Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide & Perth.[1] Wilson replaced Kate Ritchie who previously co-hosted the show alongside Akmal Saleh.
