Cajun Dance Party are an English 5-piece indie band from London. The band released their debut single "The Next Untouchable", on 16 April, 2007 via WayOutWest Records and it was voted NME track of the week. It was first played on BBC Radio 1 on 26 February, 2007 by Steve Lamacq, who had also voted the track one of the best demos of 2006.
Festival appearance in 2007 included Glastonbury Festival, Reading and Leeds Festivals, Underage Music Festival and the Camden Crawl.
Their debut album The Colourful Life, produced by the ex-Suede guitarist Bernard Butler, was released on 28 April, 2008 via XL Recordings. NME gave the album 6/10.
The band's drummer Will Vignoles is the son of the classical accompanist Roger Vignoles.
