Maximilian Emil Hehl (Kassel, September 17, 1861 - São Paulo, August 27, 1916) was a german engineer and architect active in Brazil.
Son of Johannes Hehl, director of the Kassel Polytechnic College, and Carolin Wolff Hehl, studied engineering in the University of Hanover. In 1888 he migrated to Brazil to work in railway construction in Minas Gerais. He moved later to São Paulo where, in 1898 becames a professor at the University of São Paulo Polytechnic School.
The major work of Hehl was the project of the São Paulo Cathedral. He also project the Santos Cathedral and the Consolação Church (São Paulo), all in Neo-Gothic style.
