[edit] poor article

This article needs a lot of work. First, the meaning is not "pure" nor is it likely to derive from Hecate. Second, the alternate spellings are quite recent (and mainly American), due to the immense popularity in the US is the 90's. The article implies that all the spellings have a similar history and "authenticity". I can work on it, but I don't have time now. 69.91.144.167 (talk) 00:40, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

I just reverted back to the version by Neelix, but I forgot to say that in the edit summary. I thought I'd mention it here. (Sorry, it's my first revert, I just started watching the recent changes page.) - square_pear | talk 05:19, 18 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Pronunciation

Would be good to mention the pronunciation of Caitlin can vary from the more American "Kate linn" to the more Irish "Kathleen" the latter being the correct pronunciation of Caítlín, the Irish accents indicating longer vowel sounds. -- Horkana 23:51, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

That should be Caitlín (Only the second 'i' is accented) Hibbleton 01:44, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
