Caitlin Thompson is an American Women's Sabreist from Portland, Oregon. She currently attends Penn State University

Caity Thompson has been fencing for nine years. A member of several United States World teams and has won 5 World Championship medals, four of which were gold. In 2004 she won her first individual world title becoming the Under 17 Cadet World Champion that year with a final victory over her German opponent. She is a member of the Oregon based fencing club Oregon Fencing Alliance where she was coached by Adam Skarbonkiewicz and is currently being coached by Ed Korfanty.

Caity Thompson is also the youngest American National champion in history, claiming her title at 14.

Caity is an advertising major at Penn State University. Caity "C-4" Thompson and Doris "D-Money" Willet considerably helped Penn State win their first NCAA fencing title in 4 years in 2007. Caity went 22-2 in the championship meet, with Doris Willet going 23-1. Caity received the award of Most valuable Women’s fencer in her freshman year, and has been named an All-American in both years she has competed. Caity is currently taking a year off from college to train for the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China.
