[edit] Biography

Hale has sung since the age of two, appearing in the New England Ballet Theatre’s The Nutcracker at age 3, and later played the lead in "Annie" at Sacred Heart University, and Molly in "Show Biz Kids" at Bridgeport’s Polka Dot Playhouse. She has also sung the national anthem at a University of Connecticut men and women’s basketball games, and the state Republican convention. [1]

In School of Rock, Hale plays Marta, the giggly blonde girl with the pigtails, that sings as one of the three backup vocalists, and performs with the band "School of Rock" at the explosive finale. She also has an amusing scene at the very end, when she and Jack Black, while singing together with the rest of the band, cross the fourth wall, acknowledging that "the movie is over", while the credits are still rolling.
