Cairo Montenotte is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Savona in the Italian region Liguria, located about 50 km west of Genoa and about 20 km northwest of Savona. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 13,454 and an area of 99.5 km².[1]
The municipality of Cairo Montenotte contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Rocchetta di Cairo, Bragno, Ferrania, San Giuseppe di Cairo, Ville, Chinelli, Bellini
