Cairo (band)

Cairo is a progressive rock band from San Francisco. They draw inspiration from classical progressive bands like ELP and Yes.

Cairo has a very typical blend of keyboards, guitars and vocals.

The band composed three albums in more than 10 years:

  • 1994 - Cairo
  • 1998 - Conflict And Dreams
  • 2001 - Time Of Legends

The main body of the band are Mark Robertson - keyboards, Jeff Brockman - drums and Brett Douglas - lead vocals.

The other members are

  • Alec Fuhrman - guitars in Cairo and Conflict And Dreams;
  • Rob Fordyce - bass in Cairo
  • Jamie Browne - bass in Conflict And Dreams
  • Luis Maldonado - guitars in Time Of Legends
