Caio Fonseca

Caio Fonseca (born 1959) is an American artist.
He was raised in New York City. He has lived, studied and painted in Barcelona, Spain; Pietrasanta, a town on the coast of northern Tuscany in Italy, in the province of Lucca; and Paris. Fonseca now divides his time between Pietrasanta and his Manhattan studio.
His paintings have been acquired by public and private collections in Europe and the United States, including the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York.
He was the 2004 artist-in-residence at the Music@Menlo chamber music festival in Menlo Park, California.
