Established in the year 1973,Caesar school is the only English medium school in the town of Malbazar. It is affiliated to the Central Board Of Secondary Education(CBSE). It recently switched from the Allahabad jurisdiction of CBSE to Guwahati.

Rev. John R. Thwayates was on tour of India when he came across the town. When he saw a pool of young kids being sent to far off places like Darjeeling, Kurseong, Kolkata for English medium studies, he decided to make the first English medium school of the region.

The Principal of the school from its foundation was Mr. Pandey till 1980 (not sure about date) Mr. Thomas Chandy joined the school after Mr. Pandey and the school ran well under his able leadership till 1985. After him Mr. P. Pandit took over.

The motto of the school is "Homo Sapiens" which is just a scientific term for Human.When the school first started it was only till grade 8. In 1983 it became a matric school and in 1989 it became a high school. Boys and Girls of the nearby towns such as Chalsa, New Mal and various tea-estates form a large part of the school's student strength. The school is from Nursery to grade 12.

The four houses into which the students are divided during the Annual Sports meet are red, blue, green, yellow. All forms of games are played during this time such as caram board, table tennis, soccer, cricket, drills, running, pillow fights etc.

The school anthem is the national anthem "Jana Gana Mana". Other poems sung during morning assembly are Every Bird, Like a sunflower, "Teri hain Zameen, Tera Ashman" etc.
Most notably among them was "Count your blessings", "Have thine own way lord..."

Academic and co-curricular activities are both given equal importance at Caesar School. This is evident from the numerous awards and certificates that the students of the school have won regularly. Non-competitive activities take place in the school as well. This takes place through the various activities organized by the numerous clubs such as quizzes,debates, plays, eastern and western music competitions.
