This page has had a link [1] added twice in the past. I've reverted the edits primarily because the site requires registration to see the photos. The Cadillac Fleetwood page has also been subjected to the same links. --Milkmandan 22:43, 2005 Jan 26 (UTC)

I think this is an unnecessary link that is being placed to benefit that site rather than Wikipedia, and I support your removal of it. I'm not against reg-required SOURCES if they're high-quality, but not just for external links to galleries. —Morven 23:42, Jan 26, 2005 (UTC)
I agree; these links should be removed. SamH|Talk 21:40, 11 Feb 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Why Split The Page Up

There are to many images of the Cadillac Escalade. That's why I seperated this page recently. -- Bull-Doser 14:28, 28 September 2006 (UTC)

It's just an SUV. Someone should seriously delete some of these photos. It's not the second coming, it's a vehicle. :-) Sneakernets 08:59, 5 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Need for Speed: Underground 2

As I recall it, NFS:U2 had Hummers, Escalades and something else that could be raced against other SUVs.

[edit] Pop Culture

"The Escalade has quickly become an easily recognizable presence in pop culture. It has been featured in many hip hop music videos, and it may have been the reason for Cadillac's recent popularity among the urban demographic..."

Is "urban demographic" code for black people? If so, why not say so? If not, what does it mean? I suspect this is just an issue for people in the USA, and I'm minded to change this to "black people" because "urban demographic" is meaningless and sounds like a euphemism when there's no need to euphemise. Before I do it your views would be welcome.

Welcome to Political Correctness. While it is accurate to say "the Escalade is a tru-thug-nigga'z ride of choice" it just might strike a nerve with a nobody somewhere as "racist". Only in America. Sneakernets 08:57, 5 July 2007 (UTC) 79.74.53.91 05:36, 25 July 2007 (UTC)

Well some eejit has cut out all the reference to pop culture, but there's still loads of stuff about axles and such like. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.67.247.162 (talk) 11:56, 16 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] pollution of the environment

I wonder why there is not any mention that this automobile is one of the worst air polluter? This article is more an online promotion without environmental conscience. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.131.252.192 (talk) 12:50, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
