Cadet reference group

The Cadet Reference Group (CRG) is a body within the Australian Air Force Cadets (AAFC) established to represent the views of AAFC Cadets at the highest level. The National level of the CRG, the NCRG is formed of Senior cadets from all States and Territories in Australia. The NCRG convenes, at present, twice per year with an option for a third Conference.

The broad role of the CRG is to provide a cadet perspective to the Management of the AAFC when they are considering issues that directly influence cadets.

Representation
1. effective communication/feedback both ways using chain of command 2. at least 2 WG CRG meeting per year 3. aim all SQNs represented at meetings 4. consultation at all levels 5. define issues brought forward
Accountability
1. regular/accurate reports 2. be responsible to all cadets and staff for actions 3. accountable to appointed NCRG delegates (each other)
Leadership
1. promotion of CRG/NCRG at all WG activities 2. be informed, steer group in right direction 3. ensure goals are passed down to CRGs 4. set an example and be a mentor for SQN reps 5. give thorough consideration to all suggestions
