Talk:Cable tray

Too much on firestops which is really an article in itself. We need more on uses of cable trays - power, signals, fiber, computer network, etc. On my watch list. --Wtshymanski 01:05, 1 August 2006 (UTC)
Nothing is preventing anyone from adding more subject-related information. There are plenty of articles on passive fire protection. Division 16 is a related trade and there are crossover issues that are good to know. I'm not sure what discourse about the types of cables that can be held up by cable tray would add, except perhaps regulations concerning ampacity derating and spacing of high capacity power cables, such as 1000MCMs, which must be properly spaced by code. Electrical experts are not prevented from adding relevant information. --Achim 02:29, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
