Cable skiing in Vienna
Cable skiing is a type of water ski, where the sporter holds a cord that is pulled by a mechanic construction, whereas traditionally a waterskier is being pulled by a motorboat.
With cable skiing different ski's or boards are being used. Ramps placed in the water van be used to jump with the board strapped to our legs.
When using a small board, one is supposed to sit on it with his legs folded backwards and catch a cable that is being revolved on another cable, high above a pond and which causes the person to float on the water using the board.
