Cabaiguán is a municipality in the province of Sancti Spíritus, Cuba. The capital city, also named Cabaiguán, is located within the district of Cabaiguán.

It was founded in 1894,[1] and established as a municipality in 1926. The municipality is divided into the barrios of Cabaiguán, Neiva, Pedro Barba, Guayos and Santa Lucía.[1]

In 2004, the municipality of Cabaiguán had a population of 67,224.[3] With a total area of 597 km² (230.5 sq mi),[2] it has a population density of 112.6/km² (291.6/sq mi).
