Chris Romano

Born in Atlanta, Georga in March of 1973.

Background:

Chris lived in several areas of the country including areas in the South, West, and North East. Chris's career in sports began in martial arts. Chris studied for 4 years under Raymond Lee in the Thai art of Muay Thai from 1982 through 1986. In addition to studying martial arts, Chris also was involved in the skateboarding movement including some "street" style competitions. In 1989, Chris begin his career in cycling both road and mountain biking. The first year, Chris won every time-trial event entered and placed top 10 in all road races, considering the limited background and experienc on two wheels, this was a very successful start to his career on two wheels. Chris raced all the way through 1991 winning nearly every time-trial including combined age events and medaled in multiple road racing events. Chris stopped racing to attend college at Harrisburg Area Community College and then Penn State University as a Computer Science student.

Career:

An accomplished professional, Chris earned the following certifications all while working full-time and self-studied: Cisco Certified Network Associate, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, and Checkpoint Certified Systems Engineer. In addition to those certifications, Mr. Romano was involved in writing mathematical theories and documenting simple solutions for complex equations involving multi-variable and multi-plane equations.

Currently, Chris has began a career in motorcycle racing and competes with the Champion Cup Series (CCS) in the Mid-Atlantic region. The first season of riding saw Chris enter his first race and finish mid-pack which is an amazing accomplishment considering he had less than a year of motorcycle experience. In 2006, Chris used the year to study techniques and fine tune his riding, in 2007 Chris will compete in the CCS Mid-Atlantic series as an amateur running a 2005 spec Yamaha R6.
