Wikipedia works under the Gnu Free Documentation Licence (GFDL), which essentially means that if you upload something, you must forfeit all your rights to it. This means that you must allow other people to edit it as they wish, and you cannot put it on another website without stating that it's released under the GFDL and is free of copyright. If you're uploading something from a website, you must show in some way that it's actually created by you and is free of copyright. - ulayiti (talk) 06:57, 11 May 2006 (UTC)
