C. K. Fauver

C. K. Fauver was an American football coach in the late 1800’s. In 1895 be became the first paid coach at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Miami would later be known as the "Cradle of Coaches” for being the training ground for College Football Hall of Fame coaches such as George Little, Earl Blaik, Woody Hayes, Sid Gillman and Ara Parseghian. In his only year as coach, Fauver produced an undefeated record of 3-0 with victories over University of Cincinnati, Wittenberg University and Butler University.
