C.J. Hooker Middle School educates students in grades 6-8 in the Goshen Central School District, located in the eponymous village and town in Orange County, New York, USA. It is located on Lincoln Avenue
It is the oldest school building in the district, and was used as its high school prior to the construction of the current building in 1976. Its distinctive cupola plays a supporting role in the Goshen skyline when viewed from the distance.
In 2007, Josh Shih, an eighth-grader at the school, represented New York in the National Geographic Bee.[2]
