Japanese Caligraphy

Japanese Caligraphy consists of 3 types of caligraphy.

  1. Katakana- This caligraphy is commonly used for foriegn words.
  2. Kanji- This is a symbol that represents a word. There are many of them so it is harder to remember.
  3. Hirigana- This is used most often to right japanese words using the sounds of the words.
