IB userbox
Thanks for rm'ing the IB logo from the userbox. I wasn't sure about the copyright myself, but since the image was uploaded already, I figured that had been dealt with. Evidently not. I'll work on fixing the colors and such later, but thanks for the heads up. --SuperNova 18:34, 1 March 2006 (UTC)
Re: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of International Baccalaureate schools
I count 9 keeps, not 7. Besides, AFD isn't a vote, and I felt that the explanations given by the keep voters were good enough to merit a keep decision. Robert 17:26, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
- It's okay :). It was a pretty borderline decision, so I understand why you would have called it a no consensus. Robert 17:35, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
Re:Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/New Zealand slang
Back in November you signed this off by saying the "result of the debate was merge and redirect to New Zealand English", but that hasn't happened. I noted this as I was about to list the article for deletion a few minutes ago (not realising it had been listed previously). However, my reason for listing is that it is a definite copyvio from here. The copyright warning appears at the very bottom of this page. Comments? Moriori 20:15, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
Some Articles
Can you help with Dhimmi , Jizya , Rules of war in Islam , People of the Book , & now Kafir. Its one user with a severe anti-Islamic POV , who is insistent on pushing his POV . F.a.y.تبادله خيال /c 13:13, 8 March 2006 (UTC)
Finland-Swedes & Finland
The same anon. is back again after some weeks of hiatus, inserting his/her POV, and doing a minor edit after that, to cover up. Just so you know. --Janke | Talk 06:54, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
- Today, the coverup was the edit summary itself: (I'm glad to finally see an accurate map, instead of propaganda). I agree about the map, though. The new one is better, the previous was just a quick fix I did to avoid a copyvio - not "propaganda", however! --Janke | Talk 14:10, 18 April 2006 (UTC)

IB exams
Good luck with your exams, only a few hours left now (depending on your subjects and where you live)! -Obli (Talk)? 20:09, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
Welcome again
Welcome back. You missed my successful RFA, but I did e-mail you to let you know as you requested, so don't blame me! Glad to see you are returning. Happy editing! Prodego talk 19:07, 4 May 2006 (UTC)
- Since you haven't had a very happy welcoming, have a Wikihug! ;-) Good luck, Prodego talk 20:13, 9 May 2006 (UTC)
CSD Tags
All of the CSD templates clearly state, "do not remove this notice from pages that you have created yourself." The whole purpose of the {{hangon}} template is to allow the page creator's an opportunity to validate a reason for the page's existance. If page creators can remove speedy deletion tags, than there is no reason for the {{hangon}} template, and every CSD template needs to be changed as well. --Hetar 00:40, 5 May 2006 (UTC)
Warning for conduct on deletion review
Warning: Please do not add obscenities to Wikipedia. Injecting unnecessary profanities, racially or sexually abusive comments, or provocative pictures to articles or user pages offends many people. Wikipedia treats such actions as vandalism and blocks people from editing for such repeated vandalism. Brownman40 23:05, 6 May 2006 (UTC)- WP:DRV is not an article or a user page. - ulayiti (talk) 23:07, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
- It is a project page, and the same rules for unnecessary obscenity apply. Brownman40 23:17, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
- There isn't a policy on obscenity as far as I know, and the template only mentions articles and user pages. Wikipedia is not censored. Besides, I was just mostly pasting the content of the article. Do you mean I should have left out the naughty words? - ulayiti (talk) 23:20, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
- It is a project page, and the same rules for unnecessary obscenity apply. Brownman40 23:17, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
Not the naughty words of the article content, but the naughty words of "endorse the motherfucking deletion". Brownman40 23:27, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
WP is not censored, but adding unnecessary profanities are. Saying endorse the motherfucking deletion is an attack, plain and simple. You could have simply said endorse the deletion. Brownman40 23:39, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
I didn't make that template. Brownman40 23:47, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
Because English (specifically American English) isn't your first language, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt here, but the obsenity you used and the context in which you used it is most definately a personal attack on the original creator of the article. That sort of usage is unacceptable here on WP.--WilliamThweatt 02:51, 7 May 2006 (UTC)
-
- Allow me to butt in here... If someone writes "Don't vote for motherfucking Hillary because of the motherfucking snakes..." (or whatever it was) in an article, they invite the recitation of their own words as evidence against them. Ulayiti's use was in keeping with reciprocity. Furthermore, since "motherfucking" appeared in the article so many times, more than any other word, the article was, in a sense, literally a "motherfucking article" (that is, it seems to have been composed more for the use of that word than for any other purpose.) To describe it as a "motherfucking article" is thus, in this special circumstance, an objective comment on its content, and not a subjective attack.
-
- In short, if one vandalizes WP with a new page called Astrofoo, the entire content of which is the word "motherfucking" repeated eighty times, one cannot be offended at the objective description of it as a "motherfucking article", for (as a matter of fact) that clearly describes accurately the purpose of the vandalism. Best wishes, Xoloz 17:23, 7 May 2006 (UTC)
Great to see you back!!
Your sanity, calmness, and fairness has been sorely missed! :) Best wishes, Xoloz 17:23, 7 May 2006 (UTC)

Speaking of Rapcore, I see that you gave a warning to User:85.18.14.4 about his edits on his talk page. Instead of editing rapcore, he insists on going to the Dog Eat Dog article and adding rapcore to the info box, while elminating every other style the he personally doesn't agree with. On top of that, he's decided to start making insults in his summaries, that, while inaccuarte, are not necessary. JohnBWatt 18:52, 12 May 2006 (UTC)
User:SledDogAC
Not sure how you established this user was a sockpuppet. She is clearly posting primarily under this account. That notice on her user page was unwarranted. ℬastique▼parℓer♥voir♑ 20:19, 9 May 2006 (UTC)
- Never mind... I saw the User:Helpssleddogs.org account. I'll tell her to use one account from now on. ℬastique▼parℓer♥voir♑ 20:21, 9 May 2006 (UTC)

I come from Metropolian Katowice. I know - Metropolian Katowice is "city area" (Polish: obszar miejski). Proof of truth - http://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Górnośląski_Związek_Metropolitalny.

Possible copyright breach.
I'm unsure whether the following article has the consent of the author but the wikipedia page [[1]] is an exact copy of this page [[2]].
Surely this is not right? There is no reference to the web page in any part of the article, and if it is found that it is reproduced with the orginal authors consent, surely this should be recognised? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 143.210.106.46 (talk • contribs) 10:20, 22 May 2006 (UTC)
