This description of c-stoff is FUNDAMENTALY wrong. C-STOFF was a catalyst solution consisting of a saturated solution of calcium permanganate in water. It functioned to decompose the HYDROGEN PEROXIDE in experimental or test versions of the HWK 109 rocket motors. Z-STOFF is the chemial formulation described on this page. This was the FUEL for the rocket NOT the OXYDIZER - the oxygen for burning the mixture of CH4 and N2H4 to CO2, H2O, NO2 being provided from the catalytic decomposition of the H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide).
