Cēsis District (Latvian: Cēsu rajons) is an administrative division in Latvia. It borders Valmiera District and Valka District to the north, Limbaži District and Rīga District to the west, Gulbene District to the east, Ogre District and Madona District to the south. It is organized into two cities, a municipality and twentyone parishes, each with a local government authority.[1] The center of the district is the city of Cēsis.
