Căpuşu Mare (Hungarian: Magyarkapus, German: Grossthoren) is a commune in Cluj County, Romania, located 27 kilometers west of the city of Cluj-Napoca.

The main industry is an iron ore extraction facillity. It is a tourist destination, with many new motels built in recent years.

According to the 2002 census, Romanians made up 58.71% of the population, Hungarians made up 36.03% and Roma made up 5.12%. In the commune both Romanian and Hungarian languages are used in public signage, education, justice and access to public administration.
