Now that I've filled out the Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits articles and steered them towards acting as 'gateways' to the wines, appellations and communes of the area, I see this article as a reference for the general history and geology of the area. It needs a lot of filling out on the history front. And there's loads of photos kicking around on the two Côte articles and on other language wikis, if anyone wants to go digging.
