César Javier Vega Perrone (born September 2, 1959 in Montevideo) is a retired football defender from Uruguay. Having made his official debut on August 2, 1984 against Argentina (0-0), Vega obtained a total number of seven international caps (no goals) for the Uruguay national football team. He represented his native country at the 1986 FIFA World Cup, wearing the number thirteen jersey.
Vega played professional club football for Danubio, Progreso and Central Español in Uruguay, he also played for Atlante in Mexico and Textil Mandiyú in Argentina.
