Vagno Célio do Nascimento Silva (born 20 May 1968 in Campos, RJ, Brazil) is a retired Brazilian football defender, nicknamed by fans "O Canhão do Brasileirão" (The Cannon of the Brazilian Championship)..

During his career he played for Americano - RJ, Vasco da Gama, Internacional - RS, Caen (France), Corinthians, Goiás, Flamengo, Atlético - MG and Universidad de Chile.
While at Corinthians, Célio Silva agreed a £4m move to Premiership Champions Manchester United in July 1997. However United couldn't obtain a work permit and the move fell through. United bought Henning Berg instead.
He joined Brazil national football team in 22 matches.
