Byzantine Necklace Chain

Byzantine Necklace or Byzantine Chain is a popular gold or silver link chain design that incorporates a rope-like texture and intriguing textural design. The necklaces are supple and flexible, draping gracefully about the neck.[1]

Because of its elaborate and graceful design it is most commonly worn by women. The most notable byzantine necklaces are manufactured in Italy.
