Byz is the pseudonym of the Swedish rapper Andreas Jorma Byström, born on May 27, 1984, in Sala, Sweden.

Between 1999 and 2000, he started his music career with the music group Inte Helt Oskyldiga, but not before releasing his first album There is still a party going on. In 2004, Byz almost left the music industry but changed his mind and released the album From here to somewhere later that year. Album sales were originally to friends and family, but with the help of the internet, his music sales grew.

In 2005 he released his first Swedish album called Når toppen av botten i en sjuttis. The single Karatefylla from his most recent album Fett av dig became one of his most popular songs.
