I'm Jan Steinman, doing business as Bytesmiths.

My partner, Carol Wagner, and I, travel across the country peddling our wares at arts & crafts festivals. Veggie Van Gogh is our warehouse, transportation, and living quarters, and is powered by waste vegetable oil that we collect for free from restaurants along the way.

I strive to be polymathic, and have training and experience in numerous arts and sciences disciplines. I'm also a non-violent anarchist, and feel that WikiPedia is one of the finest examples of functional anarchy around. I've only done some minor editing, but hope to be able to contribute more.

I run a wiki for a nascent ecovillage, EcoReality, and hope you'll visit, request an account (no anonymous edits allowed), and share your thoughts on our plans and direction.
