Byeon Hee-bong

This is a Korean name; the family name is Byeon.

Byeon Hee-bong (sometimes written "Byun") (b. June 8 1942) is a South Korean actor and producer best known for his role in the smash hit The Host for which he won an award at the Asia-Pacific Film Festival and a Blue Dragon Award.

Byeon became a cult TV star in the 70s by portraying strange and eccentric men. In Bong Joon-ho´s Barking Dogs Never Bite he had his first major movie success. 2001 followed Volcano High (Kim Tae-gyun),2003 My Teacher, Mr. Kim(Jang Gyu-sung) ,2003 Memories of Murder again by Bong, 2005 Another Public Enemy (Kang Woo-suk),2005 Crying Fist(Ryoo Seung-wan). 2006 finally he reached the top with "the host" one more time directed by Bong.
