Bydales School is a secondary school in Marske-by-the-Sea, North Yorkshire, England; and it is in the Redcar and Cleveland Local Education Authority. The school's current headteacher is Tony Hobbs. In 2004, the school had an enrollment of 785 pupils, and also was awarded Technology College status. The school was recently rebuilt from buildings which mainly dated back to c.1966, and a new PFI school was opened to pupils on 2 November 2006.[1] This school received some criticism over its aesthetics.[2][3]

The school's 2007 prom was hosted at Gisborough Hall.[4]

The school was accepted, along with 114 other schools, onto the trust school programme in April 2008. It will be attempting to achieve full trust status.[5]
