By Heart is Brenda K. Starr's official second album, (third overall), released in 1990 on Sony Records. It is considered her best English language album and one of her best moments overall. By Heart did not gain its fair commercial success because it did not get the same level of promotional push her debut album did. It continued from where her previous album left off. Includes the only single, "If You Could Read My Mind." Album track highlights include, "You Touch Me In All The Right Place", "What If?" (written by Dianne Warren), "What Goes On", among others.
