A tag has been placed on The IGAP, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

school newspapers do not warrant their own article unless notablie in their own right

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet very basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. - Tiswas(t) 15:37, 16 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Template:LargestNigeriaCities

Hi. Are you sure that this template is the best way to present the information? Taking the ten largest cities in a country and grouping them together in a template seems a somewhat arbitrary basis for a template. Instead of presenting this information in a template, do you think it might be better off by noting the entries on List of cities in Nigeria as being among the ten largest in the country? Picaroon (t) 03:19, 23 December 2007 (UTC)

What do you think of what I've done to List of cities in Nigeria? Would this work better than a template in your opinion? Picaroon (t) 03:32, 23 December 2007 (UTC)
I presume you're talking about Image:United States Administrative Divisions Cities.png, and I agree something like that for Nigeria would be nice. I'll see if I can make one or find someone good with graphics to do it. If you're okay with using bolding on List of cities in Nigeria for now, would you mind if I removed the template for the time being? It can always be readded if necessary. [edit] Summerhill (Atlanta)

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Summerhill (Atlanta), and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://onsummerhill.org. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 01:41, 13 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:ACMS Wolves.jpeg

Thanks for uploading Image:ACMS Wolves.jpeg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's escription page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.
