The BWI Marshall Airport Light Rail Stop is the southernmost station of the Yellow line of the Baltimore Light Rail. As the name implies, the station serves Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport, stopping near the International terminal.
The station opened in 1997, with trains then serving the station every 34 minutes and operating to Penn Station. A year later, this frequency was doubled.
The station and the airport are served by Maryland Transit Administration Bus Route 17 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Other local transit agencies also have buses serving the airport, including Howard Transit's Silver Line and WMATA's Route B30.
