My name is Birgit Schmidt-Wesche and I am a Senior Usability Engineer at IBM.

I started my career at the IBM Scientific Center in Heidelberg where I worked on natural language processing projects. I have led many user experience teams at IBM development labs in Boeblingen, Germany and Hursley, UK as well as at IBM Watson Research in the US. Since 2002, my focus has been on standardizing customer user roles.
