[edit] The game
The game is very similar to an actual gameshow, fit with a Quizmaster, his 'delicious' sidekick (Rose), buzzers, a theme song and an audience which claps and laughs.
The player can choose from 16 contestants to play as, all representing different sports. There is a Rugby player, a Skier, a Sumo Wrestler, a Volleyball player, a Shotput player, an Ice Hockey player, a Football (soccer) player, a Basketball player, a Tennis player, a Darts player, a Racing Car driver, an American Football player, a Boxer, a Cricket player, a Horse Rider and a Golfer. There is also three costumes to choose from for each.
Players can choose from a short game, standard game or long game. They can also choose to do a custom game, where games can be selected to play (The Point Builder and Pass the Bomb must be played).

[edit] Rounds
[edit] Multiplayer/team play
- The Point Builder
- A question comes up on the screen. Everyone answers in their own time.
- 200 points for a correct answer, no penalty for a wrong one.
- In Team Play - all players answer and all points contribute towards the team score.
- Fastest Finger
- Everyone answers as quick as they can.
- 400 points for 1st, 350 for 2nd, 300 for 3rd and 250 for 4th. No points awarded for a wrong answer.
- In Team Play - all players answer and all points contribute towards the team score.
- Spin
- A board with 4 randomly selected sports plus a 'question mark' section is placed on a wheel. Players take turns to try to stop the arrow on their wanted sport. Everybody answers the question.
- 250 points for a correct answer, -100 for a wrong answer. Players can however, opt to leave the question to keep their points.
- In Team Play - all players will get the chance to spin. All points contribute to the team score.
- World of Sport
- Starting in the UK, players answer questions to move around the world through all seven continents, finally ending up back in Europe. A right answer will move a player, while a quick answer might move a player two places along. The question will be about the country that the leader is on. e.g, if the leading player was in Australia, there would be a question about Australia. Time may run out if nobody is quick enough to go round.
- 150 points for each correct answer (given at the end of the round)
- 750 points for being the first round. 500 points for second. (Bonus points are not given if the game does not finish)
- In Team Play - the captain chooses answers for his team. The teams move round together and the captains represent them.
- Expert
- Each player gets 60 seconds to make their bar as big as possible by answering questions correctly. A wrong answer makes the ball smaller. Players can opt to pass a question by pressing the buzzer (this would still lose a smaller segment of the bar). All players choose from the same four sports - three randomly selected sports and a 'question mark'.
- 750 points for having the biggest bar. 500 points each if two or more players' bars are exactly level.
- In Team Play - captains answer for their teams.
- Finish Line
- Players are shown running on a treadmill with the finish tape ahead of them. To move closer, players must answer questions correctly. A wrong answer moves a player back. Only one player can move forward on a question, so it is also a matter of who is the quickest to answer.
- 750 points for being the first over the finish line.
- Not available in Team Play
- Point Stealer
- A question will appear and then one possible answer at a time will show up. Players must buzz as soon as they see what they think is the correct answer. Only one player can get it right so again it is about who is the quickest.
- The correct player can choose who to steal 250 points from.
- Not available in Team Play
- Risk
- Players are shown what the question will be about. They then choose how many points they want to risk on the question.
- Players can choose to risk 100, 200, 350 or 500 points. They win the amount they betted if they answer correctly. They lose the amount if they are incorrect.
- In Team Play - captains answer and choose how many points they want to risk.
- Estimation
- A question will appear. A bar at the bottom will show the amounts. An arrow moves up and down the bar. Players must buzz when the arrow is on their wanted answer. Players can choose again my buzzing.
- 100-600 points depending on how close the player is.
- In Team Play - captains choose where to put their teams' answer.
- Pass the Bomb
- A bomb is randomly given to one of the players. They must answer the question that appears correctly to pass the bomb to the next player. The bomb ticks faster and faster until it explodes.
- The player who is holding the bomb when it explodes loses 200 points.
- In Team Play - the bomb gets passed on to a randomly selected player from the next team.
[edit] Single player
- Time Builder
- The player must answer questions to get time needed for the final round. The quicker they answer, the more seconds they get.
- Hot Seat
- The player has as much time as achieved in Time Builder to get points. A correct answer moves the player up the point ladder. The player can bank his points at any time in between a question. A wrong answer will take the player back to the start of the ladder. If a player banks, they move back to the ladder but the points are saved.
- The ladder goes from 0-100-250-500-1000-1500-2000-2500.
[edit] Extras games
- Quiz Master
- An Analog controller is needed to play this.
- A player is chosen to be the Quiz Master. He/She asks questions to the other players. The other players buzz when they think they know the answer and then tell the Quiz Master. The Quiz Master can say whether the player is right (triangle button) or wrong (x button). He can also end the game (select button).
- Quickfire Quiz
- Players first choose how many questions are going to be asked. They are then asked random questions. The player with the highest number of points when the number of questions is over wins.
- Like Fastest Finger, more points are awarded to the fastest person.
[edit] Other features
- Hall of Fame
The all-time top 5 players are kept for a short game, standard game, long game, single player and Quiz Master.
