Buxton College

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Buxton College was a boys' independent school in Buxton, Derbyshire founded in the 16th century and became a County Grammar school in 1924. It later merged with the comprehensive, giving it two campuses, at Kent's Bank, and College Road. It merged with the local girls' school in 1990, forming Buxton Community School at the College Road campus.[1]

The Kent's Bank site became the site for Buxton Library.
