Buvik

Buvik is a former municipality in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. The administrative centre was located in Buvika.
The municipality was created by a split from Byneset in 1855, at which time Buvik had a population of 841.
On 1 January 1964 the district Langørgengårdene with 11 inhabitants was incorporated into the neighboring municipality Melhus. The rest of Buvik, with 1,267 inhabitants, was incorporated into Skaun municipality on 1 January 1965..
