[edit] Error in Opening Paragraph?
This article starts by stating "'Buttons' is a song written... for the Pussycat Dolls' debut album PCD (2005)." Yet I found a copy of the song included on the 2002 "Pepsi: More Music, Vol. 2" album on "allmusic.com" along with a 29-second sample! Does anyone know if this song was first released in 2005, 2002, or before 2002?

[edit] Alternate Cover
I added the alternate single cover on the iTunes store for proof if you have iTunes, go to the iTunes music store, look up "the Pussycat Dolls" and you should see one with the alternate cover I showed you. It is at the very bottom.

[edit] Writers
Currently this article lists Nicole Scherzinger as one of 4 co-writers of this song, however http://www.bmi.com does not list her. BMI has an official register of songwriters & music publishers, for the purpose of distributing royalties, with a searchable database. Unless there is another citable reference which includes Scherzinger as co-writer, then her name should be deleted. Design 12:00, 15 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Next single

- I think that Wait A Minute will be released in North America while I Don't Need A Man will be released over here in the UK. I put on both articleS that they are 'expected' singles so their neither rumoured or confirmed. Or the dolls are planning on releasing one more single from PCD on both sides of the Atlantic and its a current toss between these two songs.—Preceding unsigned comment added by C J (talk • contribs)

- In the UK I Don't Need A Man followed 'Buttonz' and was a hit, but not a massive one, and 'Wait A Minute' has been played on the radio and TV definitely for over a month now and I still haven't seen it in the Top 40, which I track. So either they're taking ages to release Wait A Minute, they decided not to bother or it didn't make any chart impact... 80.41.122.6 18:22, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Buttons?
Amusingly, there are no actual buttons to loosen in the whole video...
[edit] Genre
I changed the genre from Pop/R&B to R&B/Hip Hop as I believe the song is not a pop song, and their are alot of Hip Hop influences in this R&B song
