[edit] Inverted-V style?
Now what the hell is the inverted-v goaltending style? — Dorvaq (talk) 20:05, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
- So the inverted-v style does exist, but the way NHL.com presented it, the style doesn't sound like a style at all. It sounds more like the stance you hold before making a save using the other two styles. I've been a goaltender for 15 years and according to the article, I use the inverted-v style as I wait for shots and then the butterfly style to save the pucks. Anybody else? — Dorvaq (talk) 14:31, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Percentage of shots less than a foot
Now I don't necessarily question the following sentence;
- "This style became very popular after it was calculated that a high percentage of shots on goal are less than a foot in height and is still evolving today."
as I have heard this my entire hockey life, but I believe a reference is important before we add this, thus my decision to revert. In addition, the point about the style still evolving today doesn't fit the rest of the sentence. — Dorvaq (talk) 14:53, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
