Talk:Butler and Yelder
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Butler & Yelder case is one of eight known cases in American history in which individuals were convicted of murdering people who were later found alive. The case is not well known, at least not today, but intellectually it is important as the evidence of wrongful conviction in these cases in indisputable. By contrast over 170 wrongly convicted individuals have been exonerated by DNA evidence since 1989.
Perhaps the case could be relisted in created biographies of Louise Butler and George Yelder, but why have two listings when only one is needed?
