Talk:Butera
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Is there a reason why there isn't a disambig page called "Butera"? Why does a tiny supermarket chain get to "own" the name outright? πίππύ δ'Ω∑ - (waarom? jus'b'coz!) 07:58, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
- No reason. If you like, move Butera to Butera market and make a disambig page. Speciate 17:06, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
- Yes reason. If there are only two articles to disambiguate, then having one at the "main" page means that at least half the people are saved a click. And looking at the stats, this article gets 300-400 views a month, compared to ~100 for the old Butera (City). Now, the numbers for this article will have been inflated by the fact that the links from the it.wiki and Template:Province of Caltanissetta pointed here. But even if every single visitor to Butera (City) had come here first, then the current way saves 200-300 people an extra click, compared to ~100 who have to click on to Butera, Italy. The reason? I guess there's more people on en.wiki who live in Chicago than live in Sicily, it's not as though it's a particularly big town (around 5000 people). FlagSteward (talk) 22:15, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
