Buttrio is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Udine in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located about 60 km northwest of Trieste and about 10 km southeast of Udine.
Buttrio borders the following municipalities: Manzano, Pavia di Udine, Pradamano, Premariacco.
