Antoinette Clinton (b. Davis, California, ca. 1986) known by her stage name Butterscotch, is a singer/beatboxer and pianist who appeared on America's Got Talent and has toured extensively with the Mike Patton-fronted band Peeping Tom, beatboxing in place of Rahzel. Butterscotch has both sung and beatboxed, as well as a combination of the two, for her performances. The judges passed Butterscotch through several episodes and she was voted back by the viewers several times. She was in the final four (the last stage of the competition before the winner is announced), before being voted out by the viewers on the show which aired August 21, 2007. She attended the Natomas Charter School's Performing and Fine Arts Academy in Sacramento, California, where she focused on music. Clinton is currently a music major at California State University, Sacramento. In addition to the piano, she also plays saxophone, flute, guitar, and bass.[1]
