[edit] History
The tour was her first long-running tour compared to her previous tours, the Daydream World Tour and the Music Box Tour. Mariah claimed it was her favorite tour because it helped promoting her own favorite album, released in 1997. During this tour, Carey visited Hawaii, Taiwan and Australia for the first time and Asia for the second time (as a concert performer).
Performance selections from the tour were released on Carey's 1999 Around the World DVD, although often in shortened versions.

[edit] Broadcasts and recordings
- Many video recordings from the tour were used in Carey's Around the World DVD. However, many of the performances were downsized to half their length, usually excluding the second verse and chorus.
- The performance of "Whenever You Call" at Aloha Stadium is the official music video for that song.
- The performance of "My All" at the Tokyo Dome was also a via satellite performance for the 1998 American Music Awards.
