Butet Manurung or Saur Marlina Manurung (born in Jakarta, February 21, 1972) is a woman who conducts an alternative education for Orang Rimba tribe in the Bukit Dua Belas National Park's jungle in Jambi, Sumatra.
She is known for her struggle and effort to bring the isolated tribe into the literacy by teaching them reading, writing, and counting. She also began to learn tribe's living by staying with them for months.
